The very definition of elegance

The wedding of Michelle and Aaron Goldberg was completely and utterly amazing. I don't know whatever did to deserve such epic clients. The wedding was powerful and full of love from the very beginning. we initially had our engagement session at the Boston public garden which was one of the best sessions I've ever done. Take a look at it linked right here. From the very first minute I started shooting the day was full of nothing but joy and happiness.

Off to the Estate

Once everyone was ready we travel to the Sapphire estate in Sharon. If you haven't been there this is an absolutely gorgeous venue for weddings and receptions. The building itself is amazing and it also has several outdoor locations both for ceremonies as well as a heavily wooded area for first looks. This being an autumn wedding we had the beautiful fall colors to really set the stage for an amazing wedding day.

First look out in the wood

This couple opted for a first look. In addition to being very extremely romantic thing to do it also isn't a convenient way of organizing your wedding day so that you can get most of your portraits done before your ceremony. As I said earlier we had the beautiful colors this day and we set up the first look in the wooded area in front of the estate.

All together

Once we had completed the first look we moved on portraits of the bride and the groom as well as the rest of the bridal party and the family. One of the benefits of arranging a first look on your wedding day is that you can do all of these portraits before the ceremony and then once the ceremony is completed you can go directly on to your reception. many couples find this to be extremely convenient from a scheduling point of view. Additionally we were able to make maximum use of the beautiful wooded area in front of the estate.

Signing the Ketubah

The next part of the day was the signing of the ketubah. This is a significant part of the traditional Jewish ceremony that involves the signing of the wedding contract. The wedding contract in this case was a very beautiful artistic piece of paper that was then signed by all parties.

The ceremony

Next it was time to move on to the ceremony. one unexpected part of this wedding day was that the weather had unexpectedly turned rather chilly so the decision was made to move the ceremony from outside to inside, the room that was going to later house the reception. this made for a very cozy and intimate wedding ceremony.

An elegant reception

Michelle and Aaron's reception with the very height of Elegance. The estate is an extremely refined location and the decorations, the cake, the music, everything just made for an evening that we will never forget.

Down by the water at sunset

We decided to walk down to the lake around sunset for some romantic couple's portraits. It was an unforgettable location.
